PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia’s Pet-tv, a cooperative of animal-loving filmmakers, and Kates Media, a Philadelphia based media production agency  teamed up with the 1st Annual International Dog Film Festival to create the opening trailer for the film festival.  The filmmakers filmed local people and their dogs panting for tickets in line at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute’ s box office last Saturday. The star of the show: Kit, a Siberian Husky who “saw dead people” in Disney’s 1999 blockbuster The Sixth Sense.

The first International Dog Film Festival (IDFF) will be held on Saturday, June 4, 7:30 PM, at the Academy of Natural Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
